What happened in Lyon?

The city just seemed totally lame - everything was closed by 10pm, and it was impossible to find a cheap place to eat. Also, we got hassled by the police in the train station twice and had to have everything searched, our papers gone through, etc. For no reason! We came down from the tracks, went to the information center, and then headed to the exit when we approched the second time, and were escorted to the police office by like, 4 officers. So lame. Obviously everything was fine, but they REALLY wanted to get us on something.
