on one of our family holidays in france (one of our many... to tell the truth, the number of hols is about 2), i decided to teach my little sister a bit of french, so we had a "word of the day" -- usually connected to the day's events, like château, fromage, bon-bon

aww, prro jez.... i woke up "dead early" too, but it can't have been much before seven. the holy incantation only seems to work for toddlers.
