The final word

Well after going through a few tests and getting all of the autopsy results back the final word is that we are never going to know what happened to Cyrus. The only thing that they can tell me for certain is that it happened quickly (within 24 hours of my being at the hospital) and that there was blood in his lungs

I am so, so very sorry. I can't believe I haven't been keeping a closer tab on this. I... I'm at a loss of words. After reading the last few entries, I would like to avoid potentially reopening any mental wounds by asking or simply talking too much

*hugs* You are really very sweet. Thank you for all the thoughts and well wishes. I feel bad that I did not tell you sooner. For some reason I thought that you knew. I was not thinking too clearly that month or so after...but still. You are like family to us. Again I am deeply sorry for letting you know so late. :[

We are picking up the pieces though. I was just telling Justin that at times it feels almost unreal, like it happened to someone else. I mean right now I should be at home and devoting all of my time to a tiny infant. Instead I am back at work, and planning a 2nd pregnancy. Sometimes life really takes you in directions that you did not expect. It has really shown us that having children is something that we want.

I will have to add you to Skype sometime. I just got it all set up on my laptop since I have to fly out of state for work in a week or so and I want to talk to Justin while I am gone.

Take care over there. It would be cool to see you sometime this year if you are in the States and have some free time.
