Sounds like a good show, but I hate when it starts off badly with bad opening bands~ I wish diru had of had more Canadian concert dates, but beggers can't be chosers. It was just impossible to get to Toronto on time. Plus, why would I want them to freeze to death here?
Hopefully a good NA tour gives other bands ideas to come here! XD
All in all it was... save for the opening acts... I think if Fair to Midland had been better all around, they wouldn't have had a problem... but most of the people were there for Diru and not anything else... so I think that hurt the mood too.
But Kyo... didn't feel it... our energy... stunk. :x
I sent Shannon away when I read this. Just in case. You know how hxc DiG fans are. -nods solemnly-
AND! I still hold to the thought that Totchi looks like Kenichi. And will hold to that forever.
Besides. The fans did the same thing at our show. And I started yelling at them for being retarded. Because it was, like, almost a full half hour between the INWARD SCREAM thing and GDS. They also started pushing when the INWARD SCREAM thing came on. >.>;
...place called Chicken N' Things. Didn't think to much of it the first time we passed it, but the second... we found out it was a Chinese place... which blew our minds as we were figuring that it was like... a fried chicken place. Dude. I thought that it was a fried chicken place judging from the name, "Chicken N' Things". :S Misleading name, lol. But it is quite surprising to know that it's a Chinese place.
As for the gay guys;;; I was gonna say something about their feminine side of being fashionable and stuffs but I just remembered that not all girls can be fashionable also. :x Therefore, not all gay guys have a good sense of fashion. Just a handful of them are unfashionable aaaand you happen to stumble upon those few speshul ones. *nods*
ANYWAYS; God, I love reading your report. :D ♥ Hopefully Dir en grey will perform more often in the States so that you can attend the concert(s) and next time I'm sure you'll be able to find the perfect moment to yell, "Kyo no kawaii desu, yo!" I'd sooo like to know Kyo's reaction to that
( ... )
Oh man, Kathi was cackling about it the whole time! It's become and injoke now. Just like calling the cute Knight at medival times, "Smiley"
Yeah, they were special. The fem looked better than the man. Though, the man, when I saw him, I thought he needed bear ears so he could be a big gay cosplaying teddy bear. It must have been his hair.. that or the headband. o_o
That mean's I'd have to get closer to them to yell that. XD I wanna make sure Kyo hears me. There's a clip of a japanese fan yelling it and he stops... and glares. It's awesome.
I dunno what I'd get, but yeah, it would be funny... and then five miutes later yell, "Kyo no kowaii desu, yo!" XD
Thanks! It does pay off occasionally to have a good memory. :D
