It started with
muneraven's idea of getting a camper in a year or two. I will finish paying off my last debt from my divorce just before Christmas this year, and we can start thinking about a future when the youngest child is grown and launched, sorta.
I suppose having him not be around this year has made me think more seriously about those upcoming days.

The same as the very tiniest of tiny houses.
A gypsy wagon (vardo) can be just about any size, but the ones we were looking at were 4 x 8 feet, or 32 sq. ft. Of course, they don't have cooking facilities.
However, from one site at least, a "kit" for a double-bed vardo can be purchased for $495. A 13' Scamp with toilet and sink and all that runs around $13,000.
