ha ha! This is what the person I stole the quiz from wanted to get but didn't, and something that I think would fit me better than what I got, at least as a title. why does this strike me as amusing? I'm weirdly perverse?

Except for the Brits question (I picked the third one just because I'd landed on the third one for all the other questions ...) I really did answer all questions honestly. There were a couple where I had to really read choices 3 and 4 and think about my answer, but I always ended up on the third choice.

I'll see what muneraven says, she's always my reality check, lol ... but I think this pretty much reflects the way I think about things.

From what I know of YOU (granted, a little skewed) I was honestly surprised at the 30% materialist part of yours.

Hmmm. Well, that's still not *that* materialist . . .

and honestly, the *description* w/mine is accurate about me (tho the description for yours would be too, just different aspects of my thinking), it's just . . . there are various things I don't like about Taoism and Zen which go beyond that little description. I guess a 12 question test can only do so much.

I answered the questions as honestly as I could, too, it's just in some cases there were no answers I felt comfortable with/that described my position (damn, I'm taking this too seriously, aren't I? I guess because it is an especially fun quiz?) and I couldn't entirely remember what all of the Greek philosophers said . . . more like snippets of each, other than Plato (I went w/Pythagorous on what amounted to whim)

It's true, but . . . muneraven September 24 2007, 20:38:29 UTC
You picked Blake on a whim? In some ways you are more like Hobbes, at least in your range of interests. Hobbes sort of dabbled in like a dozen different fields and made important contributions in each of them.

If Hobbes and Blake had a love-child that would be you. LOL.

I love William Blake, though.

Well, so like I'm BURIED in this "Doc on a Stick" project (just don't even ask, my boss' boss dreamed up that name) and much as I normally would like to, I didn't have time to read them all online ...

But now I'm intrigued.

Can we go to the bookstore tonight?

Can you tell I'm really tired, lol?
