Oh, the calligraphy is just gorgeous. I spent almost 5 minutes trying to decipher which character fit which scribbly line...s. But I think I kind of got it. I must have calligraphy scrolls like this to hang up in my future home.

Do you own any of these prints that you're talking about? It's pretty cool that you can look at something like a photoshoot and just understand the reason behind every little thing in the picture, like the pose, the background, the placement of objects, expression, color. While everyone else, I included, will just see it as a pretty picture of a guy in a band and these traditional paintings of ladies in kimonos around him just randomly happen to be there solely for decoration. Which everyone knows now that that is not the case. Impressive. I also like how Isshi matched very well in this photoshoot, right down to his pupils!
