I ran the whole thing, with a 9:52-min mile. DUDE. Not only do I not run, but I've never done a road race before. And it was so much fun! georgy organized the whole thing, and I wound up running with hooley and a friend of hers, who are runners, so they helped me keep a pace. heee! maybe this week, while i'm away. (oooh, maybe then i can get my parents to pay for them for me, so i can still buy my kitchenaid mixer...) i know that around here, the place to go would be marathon sports, but i'd have no idea where to go in ny. hm.

There's a ton of shoe stores in the city I bet. A good place to check is along the route of the NYC marathon...

GO TO MARATHON SPORTS. That place has the most awesomest staff ever, and the prices are comparable to City Sports and other places where the staff are not made of awesome.
