Normally I love summer. I love it, can't get enough of the heat, happy as a clam in the sand, all that.

This year? The heat is aggravating the hell out of my asthma. A picture from this Hyperbole and a Half post basically sums it up:

Picture what you experienced, except pretty much continuous, and only half-abating immediately after hitting my inhaler.

I am so looking forward to being able to breathe easily again.

I've always hated summer. Hate hate HATE. I still tell people the reason I moved to the Rockies was to escape Tennessee summers. I'm hot-natured to an Nth degree, which may well have something to do with *me* that's off somehow, but I just know that I was only too glad to trade 9 months of winter for 3 months of unbearable heat.

I'm sorry it's gotten so hot as to be too much for your enjoyment. *hugs*
