I was shocked when I read about it too. Type O was my first "goth-metal" band I ever listened to and I actually had my first orgasm while listening to the Bloody Kisses album!

That's too cool that your mom introduced them to you! Wow!

When I read he died of heart failure, I automatically thought it was due to drugs too. Such a shame.

Aw! That'd be an awesome album to have one's first orgasm to. :) Mine was Puscifer's "Rev 22:20".

My mom had/has pretty good taste in music. She's also the one that introduced me to Tool, Korn, Linkin Park, etc. In return, once I became an adult, I introduced her to Puscifer and The Birthday Massacre. :)

Yeah, I was shocked that he died so young too. I was never a huge Type O fan, but I've always had a soft spot for Black #1.

On March 5th my biggest musical influence committed suicide...it was MESSED cause, literally the day before, I graduated my program in music industry business and had always expected that someday I would find a way to work with him.

Crazy :/ I used to listen to Type O in high school too...
