hmm i would not call any number given on the ticket
in case it is a fraud. call the council number taken from yellow pages etc

mention no signs, ticket not filled in etc

Well there were no road markings, and certainly no signs within sight (and it's a fairly straight road). At least we have pics. Mostly I want to know if anyone else got a ticket. It still smells funny to me.
