This is a marvelous reworking of the Icarus myth. I love putting on different characters in familiar stories. Great work!

Thank you! Everyone always blames Icarus for the fall, and people say that it's due to overconfidence and arrogance - I thought that given his father, it might have more to do with how much love he had growing up.

Sheer conjecture, of course, but that's what makes myths fun to retell ;)
