I had a dreadful New Years.
I flew home for the holidays this year with a lot of time on my hands due to my school being on strike and my state of unemployment. I had to give up my room so that my brother and his girlfriend had a place to stay. That was just lovely >___>

Yikes, that is pretty painful of a New Years. I'm not a party person either. Matter of fact I believe i have never ever ever attended a party that wasn't a birthday (as a kid), or something stuffy and family related. I hate parties and large groups of people I don't know. I hate large groups of people I do know.

I hope the rest of 2009 goes well for you.

I've never liked parties all that much. Most of the time I end up finding a quiet corner and waiting until I've been there long enough that it won't seem impolite to leave. I hate large groups in general. A little while after this I returned to Toronto and went out to see a movie with my roommate (whom I have a massive crush on) and his friends. I hung out with him and his friends in this noisy crowded cafe before the movie and it was hellish...I ended up just talking to my roommate through most of it until the guy next to him cut me off mid sentence and totally stole his attention while I just sat there quietly until we left. Ugh.

Hi saw you on the asperger group.
The only way to get my self to stop taking photos at family gatherings is to hand the camera to one of my nieces.

hey there!
Yeah I can kind of just get caught up in what I'm doing rather than 'enjoying' the event taking place. Photography is a good outlet for that.
