Writer's Block: Fright Show

For me it's a toss up between 28 Days Later and Night of the Living Dead. Night of the Living Dead terrified the hell out of me when I was a child, and 28 Days Later is the only movie since then that has scared me, with their fast moving zombies D: That's my qualifications for a great horror movie, 'cause I don't scare easily.

scary movies, writer's block, horror

I would honestly have2say (and your first reaction2this will probably be "wtf???") Mel Gibson's Passion of the Christ :) No other movie has ever horrified me (or made me CRINGE) so effectively and so impressively :) (And no, I'm not a church-goer or a believer in supernatural-beings, I'm a Secular Humanist http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secular_humanism

I still can't bring myself to see that movie. tallyslium October 29 2008, 05:02:52 UTC
Nah, I heard that it was very graphic in the nailing of Jesus, so I can't blame you for cringing. I admit that I don't have a fondness for Mel Gibson, but he can really *hammer* out his ideals to others. And yay, another humanist! We seem to be on the rise....
