Being an actual adult with a real job is not so glamorous or exciting...but, I'm happy to say that I'm not living the "college kid" life anymore. I'm proud of where I am. I made it to winter break! Woo! My job at DP is by far the best teaching job I've ever had. My students are smart, and relatively nice. I finally have a good football team to root for (woo state runner-ups). Well, I tried to like the new Ben Folds album, but it's just too much of the same. That being said, the lyrics are great.

My best friend's dad just passed away suddenly. I don't know the best way to act, or the best way to help her feel better. I want to be a good friend, but right now I just feel like a tool. What is the best thing I can do for her right now?
