One little Serb. One not so little Serb and Liverpool can't handle it. I wonder if Ballack will be welcoming him to the 'strong guy' club.

Understand this: I am only happy because now I get to keep seeing Deco in the CL sitting on the bench looking bored. And for the handful of Chelsea players I like.*cat yawns* I don't even feel the need to check ( Read more... )

That little Serb is expected in Florence this summer, though I'm now a little concerned his price tag just increased precipitously.

My Deco/Joaquin sense is failing me -- I didn't flip to the match just in time to catch a glimpse of bored Deco this week, dammit. (I trust it wasn't good enough to go back and skim through the whole thing for, though. Right?)

Oh, stop it. We'll never let him go now. :p

Aw, he was looking majorly bored in his yellow jacket, let me tell you. Tis a shame you didn't see. (No, it's totally not, though once Chelsea woke up the match wasn't bad to watch.)

Uh oh, he's wanted by the "we"? That's a very bad sign indeed. :p (Unless, that is, he's the secret!defender Corvino's already bought. Hmmm. HMMMMM.)

I actually had it on, because I got sick of the slaughter about 20 minutes into Barca, but wasn't paying enough attention to catch Deco. And I like the yellow, too! Drat. I did see Didi in yellow with his hood up after -- that's going to have to be my Chelsea cute for the day, I think.

Deco was all huddled and paranoid-looking, and next to him, Carvalho had his yellow collar turned up so it was hiding his mouth. I never think Carvalho is cute, but I wobbled dangerously. Surely somebody took photos.

I like the one of Ballack smiling at himself in the mirror. I imagine he does that a lot.

I do wonder what happened to Lahm- I missed words of his injury. Discussion in diebundesliga makes me look for ulterior motives in everything he does these days...

lol I liked that one too. The ego, the vanity, it's amazing. :p

Uh oh. Is he trying to transfer again? And in a shady way? It's always the innocent looking ones.

It's stunningly amusing, at least. Ah, preening men.

No, but he's definitely laying the groundwork for a grab at Germany's captaincy, and would like Bayern's as well. It's fascinating how he's going about it. Here's a translation of an article written about his various methods. It's rather Shakespearean, or something. :D

He has good self esteem is all. It's healthy! (Watch, somebody off screen is totally making him laugh, and we're all making fun of him. Aw, poor Ballack.)

Thanks you for the link! lol He seems rather benign in it though. Four years from now, is that when the plan might come to fruition? At the meeting where they're taking captaincy nominations, he's going to have to subtly kick somebody to get them to put his name in the pot.

I'm still bouncing around like a crazy person. My team <333333333333333. I even love the fact that Pep got himself sent off. :D

(Poor Klinsi, although putting Lell up against Leo was really not a bright move on his part.)

I'm watching the English broadcast now, the commentators were all "normally a cool, calm person, Guardiola" when he was spazzing out, and I had to laugh and laugh and laugh. Hopefully they will come to know Pep better in time. :D

(Yeah, I felt bad for some of them, the montages of their shocked faces seemed to go on and on. Van Bommel shouldn't have elbowed Messi in the face though. He pulls jerk moves like that too often for my liking.)

A couple of months back Graham Hunter got asked on Revista de la Liga whether in private with his players Guardiola was a lot different from his cuddly charming press conference persona and he kind of smirked. *g* (In my head, private!Pep is snarky in an occasionally mean way and has a really bad temper.)

(That's Van Bommel for you - he just goes nuts once in a while. I'm only forgiving him because 1) no lasting harm done, 2) he's such a massive Barca fan that it's very possible he would have cringed afterwards watching himself make that challenge.)

Heee. Maybe one day he'll write a book on his experiences with Guardiola's Barça. It'd be interesting. (I think your reading of Pep is very accurate. That's why your Pep is so scary. :p)

(He should cringe! And I hope he apologized to Messi personally. sometimes you just have to accept Messi running rough shod all over you as a part of life, but there's no need to draw blood. :p)
