Chelsea signing press conference He looks cute. Really cute.

Compare to about two months ago when he admitted he was planning on leaving Barça.

It's like he's erased the last two season's of Blaugrana hardship from his face, particularly the last half of the season which really seemed to be wearing him down.

I think he's taken pages from José ( Read more... )

(I thought he looked cute, too, and then felt guilty for thinking about that rather than being sad.)

Hee! The camera guy seems to love the dancing, as well -- I wonder how much of that is actually in his footage from the day.

*pats you reassuringly, just in general*

(It's not your fault, he's making himself look as harmless and cute as possible. Batting his eyelashes and everything, quite the transformation.)

That camera guy actually has a sense of what the fans want. Need more though.

Thank you. ;_;

(So he was included in the manipulation breeding experiment, too! Interesting.)

And I hereby pledge to rip any further dancing that turns up on the website, despite my utter inability to make the audio intelligible.

(Deco is not a bot! He's much too humanly flawed, whereas Javi 1.0 only had a few physical flaws but the temperament was perfect. Deco has too many wild emotions!)

Whoohoo! I hope Pep keeps the dancing as part of the training regimen. It looks like a useful training too.

Well, he did learn from the master of press manipulation. I suppose next is falling to the ground like a shot and looking mortally terrified as mean ol' Ballack just brushes by you during a training session.

lol That should not be as easy to visualize as it is. And that'd be the way to get Micha, start by altering his carefully honed image in the press, turn the people against him. Of course Micha has the innocent eyes and the lip chewing and the disarming curls in his arsenal with which to combat such meddling.

*scratches head*

Poor confused Deco. Doesn't he realiz that José Mourinho has left Chelsea for Inter? Will he forever be following behind just a year too late?

I know! That little "it's a shame I couldn't come sooner but things don't always work out the way you want" bit of the interview, oh, my heart. If José had held out longer, if Deco had come sooner...it's just not to be.

I'm cheering for him to take the EPL by storm. It would just be right.

[Just what is the purpose of that couples dancing training thing? Other than looking ridiculous and adorable?

I was watching the 04/05 league title celebration video - which is really awesome, I should really pimp it on my LJ - and that one is even worse in terms of people who are no longer at the club.]

I would love it if he did. Absolutely love it. But I don't know how he'll react to those ugly tackles. You can't pull hair in the EPL!

[You have identified the purpose! :D]

I've been looking at the pics of the players running onto the field like little kids when they beat Arsenal in the CL. The joy! (Thiago has beautiful hair btw. I'm envious.) They were so unified in that moment.

CRon manages just fine, and Deco's less of a diva than CRon. *g* [At least Deco in a decent state of mind is.]

2004 to mid-2006, things were perfect back then. *sighs* Or as close as you can get at Barca anyway.

CRon has been managing on a stupid red card a season, which the supporters forgive him for because he comes back to score 30-40 goals. :p I hope Deco manages to win the supporters in his own way too, even if he does feel he has to take justice into his own hands from time to time.

May I be the 80th person to say that him and Ballack fighting it out will be extremely entertaining.

Entertaining, yes, but Ballack better not hurt him! I'll throw a shoe!
