I made a Paul McCartney/Wings reference. Go me!

The Magician Prince who makes inanimate objects all chatty:

Dor is from the Xanth Trilogy of books. And if you've read Xanth you'd know how big of a joke that is. He's not a magician in the typical terms as he doesn't cast spells or wield cosmic power. Nope! Instead he just makes inanimate objects talk for everyone to hear. He can make them tell him anything that might have happened in the objects presence, explain their function and make them tell horrible puns. The inanimate also like to insult people on a regular basis as well.

Dor come right before the events of Centaur Aisle and is pretty much a big old dork. Because his magical talent is considered "Magician Class" in his world he is destined to become king one day. This of course fills him with doubts and insecurities galore so he prefers not to talk about it too much and just enjoys being a regular student in Fandom.

And just because I've had a few questions about this: When Dor is talking to an inanimate object, the voice of the object is heard by everyone in earshot. Or anyone whose ears aren't shot. Your choice.

The Klingon with a stick up his...:

Worf is from Star Trek: The Next Generation. He came to Fandom by pissing off Q in the future. Q then went back in time and sent Worf to Fandom instead of Starfleet Academy. Now there's a whole temporal anomaly and if you are a trekkie you know that's a very bad thing indeed. Unfortunately Worf won't solve this one by throwing Joan Collins in front of oncoming traffic. (No that wasn't a Dynasty reference)

So Worf is stuck here and is just... well Worf. He's arrogant, rude, stubborn, loves prune juice and he's come a long way from when he first got here. Just look how he consoled Cal in his hour of need!.

God I love that thread.

The mutant who multiplies when you smack him:
Jamie Madrox is a character from the Marvel Comic Universe and has been around for a very long time. Waaaaay long. However here in Fandom he's a teenaged version of the Original Madrox who is still off doing his canon thing in the Marvel universe.

Here in Fandom, Jamie is basically a clown with a pathological need for attention so he tends to do things that would normally get other people killed. No. Really. He does. Seriously.

Luckily he's got a ninja girlfriend who tends to smack some sense into him on a regular basis. This is probably a good thing.

And then there's the librarian...

Dude. He's freaking Indiana Jones! C'mon. You gotta know who he is, right?

Fine, he's an archeaologist who can kick butt, damn it. He's here sometime after the events of the Last Crusade and gets to deal with the wonders of Special Collections on a regular basis. If you haven't seen any of his movies you really should.

Except for the last one. Ugh.
