Funny story. If you ever met him, you'd probably get it a little better. Though...honestly, whenever I picture my dad as a baby, he still has the beard.

[Sokka swallows the pang of lonliness at the mention of Hiccup's dad. He misses Hakoda. He can't help it. It came in waves, like it had when he was little, it was just... worse when it washed over him. He plays it off when he talks on the communicator, though, lighthearted and joking like always.]

It is for me. Only boys and women have hairless faces back on Berk.

Not that there aren't some guys who...well, let's say aren't very good at growing beards. Even then, they have stubble.

I guess what gets me is how young everyone looks, here.

I've met a few men who have them.. It is strange to see everyone so clean shaven here though. Even back home there was quite a variety.
