Well, for me, Monday is a bad day of the week. I'm usually up to my tailfeathers in reptiles, as the saying goes. Later in the week is a bit calmer.

Ah, sorry. I was unexpectedly landed in the job market- which is (hopefully) unlikely to happen again, so I should be able to make it. And Gaudy Night is my favourite.

Maybe trying for a couple discussion questions at the end might be a good idea, however. We don't have to talk about them, but it might be a starting point.

I love HHC, but appreciate that lots of people don't. I would expect comments to take a dramatic upturn once Peter arrives in Oxford ;-)
