Hey. :) I can help you with the encouragement part but my 2 cents is write for yourself. Write what you want and strive to be a better writer/ficcer because you want to irregardless if you receive comments or not. Write not for the fame of being a big-named-ficcer or something but because you like what you write, no matter other says.

Also, if you do ask for comments make sure that you're ready to receive backslash and harsh criticisms. Not all comments will be "KYAAAA AKAME! KAWAII!!!" If you really want to improve, you have to see the opportunities in your writing. If you think you can handle that, I can help you. I'm not the best ficcer around but we can be friends and we can help each other, okay? :) ♥

hello. but if no one reads, how am i supposed to know whether its good or not? and its tiring to keep asking people to read over and over again. i love writing though and i really want to improve cause i know my writing isn't that good.

thanks btw, for the wake up call. i really understand alot better now, and no, i don't wanna become some big-named-ficcer cause it would be scary. HAHA! what do you mean by the opportunities?

thanks though. :D yeapp, friends. <3

Haha. You have a point. People haven't been that keen in leaving comments. But seeing here that you have friends that are willing to work with you, then that's a good start. I'll comment to your fics ASAP. I'm just busy writing my own fic and work. :)

Opportunities means the areas where you can still improve on your writing.

Hang in there. :) ♥

Also, you can call me She. :)

they don't suck...don't say that...i was like that at first but the comments turned out to be good...you can't avoid it when people don't like your works...just take it as a constructive cristism...it will help you grow in some ways and your fics will get better... you'll read my fics *horrified* i only have 4 at the moment cause i haven't written the ones on my reminder...hahahaha

Hey, Mika! What happened? What's with the feeling of rejection and all? I'm sending you truckloads of encouragement. I have read your Akame drabbles and they are okay. I didn't comment because I only read them recently (missed them when you posted because I don't know why). And your drabbles are more or less a hundred words (I didn't count), meaning, you do not get it mixed up with a one-shot (which a lot do).

I'll have to agree with fionna. Writing is a form of expression. While it is true that getting comments are encouraging, not getting a lot should not discourage you.

Write on, Mika. If you need help or something, just holler...

hello. what's your name? :D

ouh, i'm woken up by fionna. she gave me a good wake up call and i'm awake. :D hahaha. thanks(: so are drabbles supposed to be less than 100 words? or more? i don't really know that... when i write (which is usually on paper) i see the length of the words and thats when i conclude whether its a drabble or oneshot.

thanks. :D thanks again! :D

Jeez! You don't know me? You greeted me on my birthday! LOL!
I know your name because I asked and you gave it to me. LOL again!

Yes, a drabble is a 100-word fiction:
"A drabble is an extremely short work of fiction exactly one hundred words in length, although the term is often incorrectly used to indicate a short story of fewer than 1000 words. The purpose of the drabble is brevity and to test the author's ability to express interesting and meaningful ideas in an extremely confined space." (Wikipedia)

Ashi (there, that's what you can call me)
