Heterosexual Adoption

I've been doing some research on the heteroxual adoption debate and while I like to consider myself an open-minded person, I am forced to the conclusion that for the sake of the children and with an eye to society's best interests we cannot allow heterosexual couples to adopt.   In bullet form, here are my main reasons:

it's true. As the child of heterosexual parents, I have indulged in tobacco, alcohol, illegal drugs, promiscuous activity, and worst of all, I voted for Dennis Kucinich in 2008.

clearly, not only should we be denying heterosexuals the right to adopt, we should be looking into taking their existing children away from them, and depositing them in good, gay-only households in New York City, Seattle, or San Fransisco.
