All hail Lord Buckethead!

Some of you may've watched last weekend's John Oliver segment about the UK elections (a major clusterfuck for Mrs May and the hard-Brexiters; but that's another long story). The presence of such a candidate doesn't surprise me even one bit. After all, America did elect a Lord Buckethead of their own for president.

What should probably cause quite a few heads across the Pond to assplode is the fact that most societies in Europe are able of having election campaigns that are 1 or 2-3 weeks up to a month long, not spend billions for elaborate campaigns, and still have functional democracies. Go figure.

As populist as it may sound, most of what this space lord says actually makes sense. Frankly, I would consider voting for him if he faced someone like Mrs May.

Looks like Theresa is toast. The response to the Grenfell Tower inferno was... let us say less than optimal, to be exceptionally generous.

The election was a shambles. And Jeremy has turned into a prime-minister-in-waiting. And gods, the Brexiteers are shitting bricks sore perturbed right now. All those rich companies desperate to asset-strip the NHS and muscle in on the Beeb's territories whose major shareholders funded the Brexit campaign are now going to have to deal with Comrade Corbyn. I'm fucking well pissing myself laughing. I find myself smiling at odd times, full of private mirth ( ... )
