Do ask professor Dershowitz how the Dems could manage his programme whilst being in the minority in both houses?

For someone who understands how American politics works that seems a rather stupid thing to say.

And as for the rest of that comment about destroying a man without accusing him of a crime I'm just going to go "tu quoque" on his arse: birthers, email accounts, and errant husbands (because obvs a wife is guilty of her husband's sins).

Bollocks.

Poor Pres Trump, he can't manage his own executive orders without being challenged by the opposition? What's he going to do!

These diatribes have become increasingly lame, btw.

I'm sure he's going to tweet the Dems into oblivion.

It's a gamble - Republican politicians opposing Trump are taking the same chances as Democrats. Is he going to be a fuck up? I couldn't tell ya, but anyone who guarantees he will be - might be a good idea to go check and see what kind of guarantees they were making around November 7....

You do know there is a difference between being a fuck up, and being compromised and in someone else's pocket? Not that it matters, of course. If you get rid of the Donald, you get Pence, who isn't compromised AFAIK but who is Mike Pence.

Thing is - somebody has to PROVE he is compromised (and really, that'd just be the first step).

Sources, many sources, unnamed sources, and multiple sources combined really can't do shit. Getting rid of Trump - if it happens, will happen through an election - the Democrats putting off putting together some kind of strategy for that makes two terms of Trump much more likely than a fraction of one term.

To paraphrase a previous POTUS: it depends what is is.

Proof may not be forthcoming, and even if it is, my advice to the Dems would be to keep their powder dry until the last 18 months of P45's term. Because I'm that sort of person.

But...
That's when they can make it count.
