Widespread Criticism Follows Saudi Arabia Joining U.N. Women's Rights Group

Umm, you are just noticing this kind of nonsense?

This is pretty much par for the UN course.

In 2007 the human rights committee was chaired by... Sudan. In the midst of the Darfur genocide.
