The bar has been lowered quite a bit, hasn't it? Since even liberal pundits like Fareed Zakaria are now saying Trump has suddenly started to "look presidential" after his resolute actions against Assad in Syria.

Some people are just so obsessed with sticking it to the Russkies that they'd take a dump on any positions and principles that they've previously held regarding President Douchebag if it would bring a few bonus points to their cause.

The situation is starting to resemble pre-Iraq-II times. Everyone is rallying behind President Douchebag's war-cry. It would've been amusing if it weren't so repetitive.

I believe the word that comes to mind is 'useful idiot'.

This US administration still lacks a coherent policy on Syria. These unilateral, impulsive actions definitely are not helping much in that respect, either.

Maybe 'Acting Presidential' just means acting like our other presidents - in which case - isn't he nailing it (as far as this Syria thing goes)?
