We are going to have new gun regulation with public safety in mind. It is just a matter of time. Obama is planting seeds. Many others have already been hard at work on it. The new regulations will involve more careful screening especially of new gun owners, and inceased penalties to gun owners whose guns are used for ill purpose (by someone else) because their guns were not secure. Instead of carrying a concealed card, gun owners will carry a license with various endorsements similar to a driver's license. Not authorized to drive a bus with air brakes? No air brake endorsement. Simple. These things will come to pass because reasonable people with guns are going to team up with reasonable people without guns and get it done.

And oh yes by reasonable I mean governed by the cortex and not the amygdala. This takes practice.

mostly our amygdala's are being blocked by archaic infections and emf fields such as wi-fi and cellphones so we can no longer discern/intuit the truth..

Also, the U.S. won't be banning guns until the 2nd Amendment is repealed, which won't happen any time soon.
