In the wake of the 2012 Newtown, Conn., school massacre, he warned in E-mails sent to more than 1,000 employees of the Connecticut State Police that they risked “initiating hostilities” if they tried to enforce the state’s tough new gun control law. “I personally violated this unconstitutional and tyrannical act by smuggling and by the encouragement of smuggling, defiance and non-compliance on the part of your state’s citizens,” he boasted to the police. And he also seemed to target the Connecticut state senators who voted for a new state gun control law, posting information about where they, their spouses and their children lived, what their phone numbers were, and their photos.

I know it is in horribly poor taste and potentially dangerous to the targets, but is doxing illegal? And isn't most of that information public? Otherwise, how could he obtain it?

And yes, he is a crazy pants that is only effective when people like us pay attention to people like him. That linked dossier on him is probably like sweet porn to his ego. He wants to be remembered and not forgotten, like Charles Whitman, Lee Oswald, or Charles De Gaulle. Like it or not, they are all now immortal.

I think that depends on the state you live in. But yes, that's the point. It's "potentially dangerous to targets."

It's effective when people like HIM pay attention to him, as was indicated some years ago when he effectively got other people to hurl bricks through Democratic headquarters' windows.

"Old people" like me are familiar enough with the history of people like Jules Streicher, Thomas Dixon, and the RTLMC to know the danger of his kind of propaganda.

You're not that familiar with that history if you're making this assertion. NSDAP murders began in the 1920s and continued until well before they were in a position to send Jews by carload lots up in smoke in the gas chambers. Streicher's threats were less relevant than Roehm's bullets. Oddly, for someone so educated, I seldom see you reference people like the SA or the Red Front, the kind of people who gave Streicher teeth. One might imagine a movement with a long tradition of openly socially approved murder of its opponents would be a bit more than a bunch of fat old blabbermouths who when not protesting their 'sexual purity' are busy fapping to heinous porn.

Come on, Jeff, you understand what he inferred; vote with a bullet to the head of your favorite Lefty. That seems to be OP's point; there is much wiggle room in his rants. But it is what it is.

One who is predisposed to such hatespeech will take the 'nod-wink' comments (Palin was/is a good example of such bad entendre)as a call to violence. We can agree that it is both disturbing, and probably non manifesting hate-speech.

What puzzles me is why he is so focused on destroying the Left side of Government. No matter how many Lefties you kill, there will always be someone to the left of you.

Until he now becomes the left. Then what? Killing lefties is now fair game. I guess by this measure there will only be one human standing - Ted Nugent.

And it is not like the GOP is the fucking savior of America.
