Doesn't matter if they deserve it. They have it. They have the power they have the tie breaker they have the edge they have home field advantage they have the numbers on their side they have what it takes they have a leg up they have control.

They aren't going to give it up easily - no one with power ever does.

The persecuted need to come up with a better strategy than pointing out 'It isn't fair'.

Does one group have a right to persecute or does another have a right not to be persecuted?

The fact that today, we can look at that question and still see it as some kind of paradox or dilemma, is sad.

When official state authorities look the other way as people are persecuted, they lose their legitimacy as governing entities. They become mere tax collectors who profit without governing.
