Apparently, in Italy cats relinquish two of their lives at birth in the exchange of an illustrious political career. ;)

I suspect the whole bunga-bunga affair actually raised him in the eyes of many Italians. Must be a cultural thing.

The cynic/realist in me says: Berlusconi'll be back in office in two years.

If only because he has a cool italian name that sounds trustworthy enough to be on a national spaghetti sauce label.
