John Maxwell’s The Law of Empowerment - Only Secure Leaders Give Power to Others

May 15, 2013 13:46

I really value John Maxwell’s books on leadership, I find them inspiring but I think The Obama Administration needs to retool their leadership policies. They are giving too much power to their lower level staff and it is creating a culture of corruption.

patriotism, obama, philosophy, corruption

I've had bad luck trying to embed videos here. Your best bet is probably just to provide a link.

Depends. Some sites won't allow video embedding. If it's Youtube, use the following tag:

<@lj-@template name@="video">@xxx<@/lj-template>

(just remove the @'s, and instead of "xxx" place the video URL)

Those responsible for the Benghazi murders were low-level State Department staff

Are they being indicted for homicide?

Why are low-level State Department staff members killing people anyway? To get experience points, obviously.

Are you blaming table top roleplaying games, MMORPGs or violent video games in general?

Dungeons & Dragons, the original, not that awful d20 system stuff.

Yet the wording of the second bullet point is the focus of the most outrage.

Don't know about outrage, but some questions need to be answered.

Honestly, these people hired a Treasury Secretary that didn't pay his taxes. If they're that sloppy with vetting at high levels, that's not the only places they would be sloppy.

Maybe it's time to appoint a Blame Czar to ensure that blame is pushed down to the lowest levels of the organization.

That's spot is filled: Rep. Issa is the blame Czar. He's a busy man, through 2016 I think. Hillary will get back with him.
