Class and family in the US and A.

I've been musing about something. Beware, for I have mused and you are now subject to its consequences! Something came up with got me thinking about family and how class continuity can effect politics. For instance, anecdote-wise, about 3/4ths of those I know are worse off than their parents than their parents were at their age. The rest are either ( Read more... )

it's all about your local GA

not to mention: weather is a factor.

Uhm, since when have young people ever been involved in politics?
Of course they aren't following OWS closely, they don't follow ANYTHING closely if it's political.

Wanna show me some stats about how many 18-29 y/o's voted in 2011?

Dude, when I go down to Zuccotti park, it's easily 25-50% middle aged to old folks.

It's got appeal to old and young alike. The youth are more revolutionary, perhaps, but the young and old alike agree that the 1% are getting away with highway robbery while the 99% are left to fight over scraps.
