Where are you hanging out these days?

I've been banging around Google+ a lot. The photography they post is incredible. It's a great place if you want to go into niche categories. You might be able to do a lot with up and coming bands and music. Just use the search option in there.

post moar. mora post plz.

The problem is that this forum has become waaaaaaaaaaay more Euro-centric now that a lot of people have left. Also, since the right has gravitated more toward conservative echo chambers, this forum is becoming more of an echo chamber for more liberal and centrists views. Where is Steve Potocin when we need him. All the older Talk_Politics veterans will know what I'm talking about.

People have left because it's become Eurocentric? Now that's something new. I thought they left LJ exactly because of places like FB and G+.

The more you know...

Agh sorry, you mean the Euros have remained. Wonder why that is. I BLAMEZ FACEBOOKZ!

Btw, you know how to bring balance back to the force. POST MOAR on Americentric topics, yo!

Ps. Echo-chamber for centrists - wow, I do learn a new thing with every comment of yours. So post moar!!1!1

Pps. I'm sure Steve-O is in a better place - something like sockpuppet heaven, I suppose. Surrounded by digital virgins with megatits... errrr, I mean begabits!

Echo chamber for centrists. I think this would've been worthy of a DQ if it were put in a sentence of its own.

You say it like it's a bad thing. :)

I thought people were curious about events happening beyond the reach of their nose. Some of us actually try to bring diversity of topics, you know. And you know what the best part is? You could help, too.

I assume you mean to imply that that this place becoming as Americentric as it used to be would've solved the "problem" that you speak of? I'm genuinely curious how exactly is that supposed to work?

Some of us actually mostly write about other places that are neither America nor Europe. As surprising as thay may sound, such places do exist indeed.

Let me second that request. And give you some positive support by telling you directly I really enjoyed your post about the application of stem cell research towards a cure for diabetes.

Ditto your comment about Google plus and photography. I love the HDR communities as well as the short film and time lapse movies. There are some ncredibly talented folks out there.

Personally, I find the current balance between Americentric and non-American posts, the exact opposite of "problematic".
