New Vid: "Cry"--The Untamed (Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian)

I thought my first The Untamed vid would be an over-the-top Wangxian slashfest, but then this song exploded onto my consciousness, and it's such a perfect Jiang Cheng song that I had to vid it. Plus, it's only two minutes long, which seems like a good way to ease myself into the fandom.

AHHHHHH, you're vidding The Untamed now, too? I just made my first fanvid in 6 years because the power of WangXian compelled me. IT EVEN HAS A NSFW ENDING BECAUSE I AM A SLASH DUMPSTER.

But going back to your lovely video, that was the JC character study vid I didn't know I needed. Great lyrics matching and overall editing (especially the hands sequence from 1:37 onward).

I love how old fandom friends are finding each other again via Untamed fandom. It's bringing the band back together! Your vid (the parts I watched) is truly a wonder to behold, and you haven't lost your vidding mojo at all.

Thank you!! I didn't know I needed it either. He was never my favorite character; it's just that this song begged to be vidded to him. It seemed almost inevitable.

Never thought that this song would be used to give all the feelings regarding Jiang Cheng, my precious angry kitten, and his complicated relationship with Wei Wuxian, but damn does it work. Wonderful job at showing the angry and sad moments, and his frustration (yet love) for his brother. ❤
