SO AWESOME. I've never heard this cover before, but I love it and it works so well for PoI.

1:48 - 2:02 was the hottest Reese/Finch stretch of vid I've ever seen and I was completely dazzle-mesmerized by 2:34 onward as the song ramps up and you've got action hero!Reese being all BAMF. I feel like I should belatedly chip in some money for the auction because this vid was clearly made for me, too. :D

I did not think that could possibly be as good as it was - only it wasn't, it was better! This cover fits the tone of the show, and as always I love your sense of humor - that it's...sincere and yet tongue-in-cheek at the same time, that I'm smiling at all the many many many telephones which make "call me maybe" just too pat - and yet it's Reese and Finch breaking my heart, at the same time.

...and I've said before that I tend to see Finch & Reese as a platonic OTP but your dark arts are winning me over to the slash side XD

Ah, you don't know how reassuring this comment is--I had some doubts about this vid, especially in terms of tone. It was a bit outside of my comfort zone, but also a wonderful challenge.

Thank you! I felt that balance was actually in the song as well. Ben Howard clearly finds it hilarious that he's doing a Call Me Maybe cover, but at the same time, he's deadly serious about owning the song and making something strange and beautiful out of it.
