--I think I stopped breathing for about half this vid and only started again because I had to cackle at the "stoop so low" with Loki dropping Thor in the cage in Avengers, because it was so perfect and wrong and tragically hilarious. Which really the whole vid was. (okay partly because ever since I saw this the song makes me crack up inappropriately - this remix worked wonderfully though!)

Tragilarious? Hilarigic? I don't know what to call it, because, like - the "have your friends collect the records" with the Chitauri attacking AHAHAHAHAHAH - but at the same time, Thor looking away in his final shot, waaaaaaaaah~~~~~

....okay now having watched it 3 times in a row, I must go READ EVERY HAPPY-ENDING THOR/LOKI FIC EVER OH MY GOD YOU SILLY BOYS. And then get back to my post-Avengers fix-it-if-I-can-bring-Loki-around fic...

I'm still such a sucker for Thor's nostalgia. All the happy memories! His FACE on 'ache I still remember'! And throwing away the armor and walking down the street as a mortal on the chorus!!! His phantom-hand-clenching at the memory of Loki slipping away! gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

And then Loki's disillusionment and pain. How did I never notice how close he is to giving in to Thor in the clips you chose for 'giving in to every word you say'--he's an inch away from capitulation! Gorgeously captured.

But then! I still giggle at all the times you poke fun at them. The lyrical jabs are delightful. I'm a cruel heartless fangirl...

On a purely nerdy note, you did some really fun stuff with the timing too. The mixture of long shots and quick cuts worked so well with the beat and the clip choices. I totally dug that.

So, yeah, I adore this. Thanks for sharing the awesomeness of your brain :)

Thank you! I'm so glad that worked for you. In an angsty slash vid, I like to mix in longer face shots so you get the full force of the characters' FEELINGS. But then I like to respect the beat, too, so I throw in some short clips. It's a balance, and sometimes I hit the mark, and sometimes I flop. Heh.
