Gorgeous video!
I never really payed attention to Clark/Lana storyline, so it was a big surprise to see in that vid that it was so solid and touching.
I adore your point of view in this video. How subtly, tenderly you tell us their story. It's so original and sad, sweet and painful. Amazing.
I was really, really touched by your video. It's so dreamy, yet it stays true to the show and the real storyline.
Oh, and the ending was brilliant. It was beyond perfect! It adds another dimension to your video.
Bravo!

First of all, thank you for even watching the vid, when it is not a pairing you are particularly interested in. That's quite a compliment. Secondly, I am so glad it worked for you, that it showed you something interesting.

Thank you! I wanted to explore the mind of Clark here. He's such an intriguing figure, so physically strong, and yet so emotionally vulnerable. Lana has an enormous amount of power over him, which is at once a really beautiful and a really frightening thing.

Oh, and the ending was brilliant. It was beyond perfect! It adds another dimension to your video.

YAY. I personally love that last shot. It's so gorgeous. Plus, I think you're right, it adds an element of uncertainty and imbalance to the vid.

Thank you so much for these wonderful comments!!!

My, that was lovely. You did a masterful job of capturing Clana, mostly in their dysfunctional tragedy, but still showing the love and connection. And the song choice was amazing. I loved the scenes you used, and the way you worked them together.

Thank you! I'm so glad you liked the song. I was worried that it would be a little too slow for people, but it's just so gorgeous, I had to use it. It worked out really well because I wanted to use longer clips than I usually do, to take advantage of some of those beautifully composed Clana shots.

I'm speechless my dear friend. And that doesn't happen very often. I'm also sitting here with sincere tears in my eyes for the beauty of this video, and even more so for your kindness and courage in making it.

The song choice is perfect. Melancholy, yes, but still with the brilliant sunshine that was always there, for some of us more than others.

One of the hallmarks of the physical interaction of Clark and Lana has always been their face-touching. I'm so glad you captured so many of those in your clip choices. I need to rewatch (which I'm sure I'll do many times), but I marveled at some of your excellent editing in a segment towards the end where you blended what I think were three different scenes fo them coming together for an embrace, but you made them seamless as one movement.

This means a lot to me, J. I hope you enjoyed making it even a fraction of how much I love watching it.

Awww. Now you're going to make me tear up. I'm so glad you are pleased. I wasn't 100% sure on that score, since it is not the happiest of meditations on Clark/Lana.

Yes! When I was listening to it a couple of weeks ago, my mind was suddenly filled with that beautiful golden light that they use in so many Clana scenes, and I knew I had to vid it, even if I was unsure of my footing.

One of the hallmarks of the physical interaction of Clark and Lana has always been their face-touching.

This is something I found utterly enchanting as I went through the footage. Clark takes on such a look of joy and peace and youthfulness when Lana strokes his face.

Bravo! *Applauds* Scene choice, song selection (Josh Radin = listening love), editing all beautifully done, this was like an in motion painted masterpiece. I have come to the conclusion that if it is portrayed with beauty, realness and emotion then I can become a fan of multiple ships when it comes to this show. Clex will always just edge out the rest but Clana, Chlark and Clois all have their shining moments with talented vidders *nods to you* and fic writers. Gorgeous quality on this vid too, this one is being saved to my ipod classic (joining your Don't Cha and your Christmas Lex one). Thankyou for taking the time to make it, it made me smile and also made my heart ache in places, I hope you enjoyed creating it.

Thank you! Say what you will about Smallville, but they know their visuals. They take great care with lighting and composition and make it easy to produce gorgeous vids.

Ahh, that's wonderful to know. I hoped it would affect people that way. Thanks again!

wow it's really amazing vid! you captured the relationship really well between the love and that tragedy. I guess this is one of your biggest achievement cause you not shipping Clana but still can make an excellent one *claps*

Hee. What a lovely way to think of it, thank you. It really wasn't that hard to make this vid, once I got over my prejudices. There were so many beautiful shots to choose from.
