1. You no longer wear v-neck t-shirts because it is too “revealing”.
2. You no longer wear tank tops because it is too “revealing”.
3. Similarly, you no longer pair tank tops with shorts :(
4. You feel weird wearing flip-flops :((
5. You wear boots all year around.
6. You bow while talking on the ( Read more... )

haha... and I love how Muro just waves at Ryuta and is like 'tag-team, you're it'.

That means that you haven't been in Japan long enough! ^_~

I'm not really sure. But having been sick this week, the whole blowing-your-nose-in-public thing has really sucked.

Oh man, I hear you on that one. I had a horrible cold when I was visiting over Christmas, and everyone on the train gave me dirty looks. I couldn't help it! D:

I got 3 out of 13. I don't wear tank tops with shorts, but not because I think it's too revealing or anything; I simply find it too basic and boring. Sometimes during fall/winter/spring I wear boots and shorts. I only consider that 0,5 points since I don't do it all year around ( ... )

I don't understand #7 though. Why would one get embarrassed because there's a bunch of loud foreigners next to you?

you haven't been in japan long enough...

haha... I feel a little ridiculous realizing that I do so many of these. The only things that save me are the facts that I don't like alcohol when I'm eating and the fact that I usually don't have time for breakfast. #13 is a little weird to me. I don't really get why that would change.

I only do 5 and 12. XD

I wore tank tops, flip-flops, and a v-neck this weekend because I'm super-American like that. ^^ Scandalous!

6,7...that's it. I don't know if it's good or bad, but I feel like the longer I'm here the less I care about conforming to certain Japanese standards. Flip flops are comfortable and sometimes you can't wait to blow your nose...I consider it a form of cultural exchange. XD

I wish I didn't do so many of these. I use my piercings as my cultural exchange. haha...
