[Concert Notes] KaT-TUN w/ Kis-My-Ft2 (100725, Tokyo Dome) and Ueda Solo
Here are my notes for the 100725 KaT-TUN in Tokyo Dome concert. Again. I'm a Kisumai fan. I don't pay a ton of attention to KaT-TUN. Also, I started to write this yesterday (Monday), but then I got distracted and didn't finish. If the wording/time references get weird as you read, I apologize.
Things I forgot about the 100724 Show
- During Right Now, which is the first song Kisumai performs in after Kisumai's corner, Kitayama does this thing where he dances through KaT-TUN to the front and then goes back. At first I thought maybe he made a mistake and wasn't supposed to do that yet, but I'm pretty sure he did it on purpose... but he's the only member that does it.
- During Junno's solo, Tamamori, Miyata, Yokoo, and Nika are his back-up dancers and the colors of the lights aimed at the Dome ceiling are yellow, purple, orange, and green. ♥ Also during Junno's solo, each of them do a little dance with Junno and Miyata's is his Koi no ABO otaku dance. Love it!
- During the theatrical corner, when Kame's supposed to blow handfuls of tissue paper sakura petals out of his hand, he kinda inhaled a few. Attractive Kame... real attractive. haha...
- Towards the beginning of the concert, Koki's standing on the upper platform of the main stage with Juri. He had his arm around Juri's shoulders but then as soon as his part was done, he pushed Juri back and was like, 'get lost'. It was brotherly. haha...
- Since they've redistributed Jin's parts, some of them are obviously not used to singing at certain times. Koki forgot to come in and towards the end looked at the camera looking really apologetic 'cause he missed over half of it.
- GOODS TALK during the MC. Kame had the phone strap attached to one of his belt loops and had attached some black feathers to the bottom to make the strap longer. The thing is just so huge. haha... They said that when they asked around, the kinds of goods fans wanted were things like the strap and shushu. Who they asked, staff or fans, not sure. But then they started talking about the word 'shushu', asking why it's called a 'shushu'. Kame wondered if that's the sound of putting your hair up and then someone else (Koki?) asked if it was French. They also talked about the t-shirt color and how whoever they got suggestions from (the way they said it sounded like they asked fans) said that white's no good cause you can see their bras through it. haha... True.
- Also during the MC, Kame told Miyata that he needs to be more like an idol and not make the "Mabushii!/Oh, bright!" face when the light hits him and went on to demonstrate what he meant. haha...
- And in addition to the part where I talked about Tamamori being fun to watch, he really likes to do things that the uchiwas say. Especially janken. haha... But some that we saw were some air hug thing... and then there was one where he seriously stared at the girl's uchiwa, trying to figure out what he was supposed to do and then suddenly, his face went OH! and did the "Nika-chan da yo~!" motion. Cute.
- During Koki's solo, the black slacks that Senga, Kitayama, Nikaido, and Fujigaya wear have white pockets and it's... hmm... yeah. Different pants woulda been better.
- They changed the lyrics for D-Motion. I can't remember what the say instead, but it's not "Shake it, drink it, pump it."

Ok. Stuff from last night's (100725) concert. I considered writing an entire report, and I still might, but for now, here are my notes. We were 2nd row arena this time. Rachel posted a picture from our seats on her lj here. And like last time, I'll update this as I remember things.
- MIYATA DID A FLIP! Rachel did some research last night after the concert and thinks the closest thing it could be called is a 'front walkover'? Towards the end of the concert, possibly/probably during PEACEFULDAYS, Tamamori was walking passed us, left to right, but was walking really slow and we realized he was waiting for Miyata. When Miyata hit the middle of the main stage, Tamamori gestured for Miyata to do something and Miyata immediately tried to do a flip... and fell on his ass. Tamamori laughed and started walking again. Miyata chased after him and jumped, hitting Tamamori across the back of his head and they laughed together.
Senga, who was coming from the opposite direction, pointed, gesturing for Miyata to try again. Miyata looked like he wasn't gonna do it, but Senga was obviously being like, 'No! Try again! One more time!' Miyata did and actually managed to do it. HE LOOKED SO INCREDIBLY PROUD. And then the fact that Senga looked just as happy. ^___________^ They ran at each other and high fived and stuff.
It looked like Tamamori told Miyata not to follow him 'cause all of a sudden, Miyata was running back in the opposite direction, with Tamamori just standing in his spot, watching Miyata go.
Then later, as they were heading back to the middle of the main stage for Kisumai's introduction, Miyata, to Nika, Senga, and Tama (possibly Taipi as well cause he ended up at the end of their line later) was like, "Look what I can do!" and did it again. Senga was all YAY! Nika was bending over laughing and Tama was more like, yay and amused.
Either way, WE WERE SO HAPPY, cheering and clapping for him. Good job Miyacchi!
- At one point when they were wearing the gold outfits from the opening of the EbiKisu cons, Nika slapped Miyata in the stomach as the passed each other on the middle walkway.
- Nika laughed at us. haha... Bethany and I were pointing/flailing at Rachel for Nika to look at her. He was stopped in front of us, stared for a little bit, and then laughed. Almost exact thing happened at YokoAri this past March. haha...
- SHAKA TIME.Yokoo did it twice and I was surprised the second time, 'cause he really didn't have to. Thank you. Senga did it too and I was a little surprised that he got it right off the bat cause I'd expected him to do the 'rock on' one that Rachel and Bethany usually do. When Kitayama did it, I was waving normally at first but he could have been waving at anyone, so I changed to a shaka... and he immediately changed to a shaka. ♥ yay. When Fujigaya comes around, he sees us, he waves and then he'll wave directly at Bethany. I wanted him to do the shaka, 'cause he does it all the time in photos (whether or not he actually knows what it MEANS is a different story), but he usually will just wave. Finally, towards the end of the concert, he came by, wave, wave... SHAKA. :D Don't think Miyata and Tama ever actually looked at us 'cause most of the time they were in front of us, they were distracted by each other.
Oh. And Koki did the shaka at Rachel. He was walking by during one of the encores and Bethany and I did the shaka, but Rachel just stared. He kinda looked over all three of us and stopped at Rachel, like confused (?) as to why she was just standing there. He actually stopped, so she was like, um... *shaka*? And he did it back. haha... She doesn't like Koki.
If you don't know what the "shaka" is, here's what wikipedia has to say about it. And if you didn't already know, yeah. I'm from Hawaii. ^^;

- Hey!Say!JUMP came. Val said that they came with two other juniors, one of which get ass-groped by Kitayama, but I'm short so if it's not on the stage right in front of me or on the VTR screen, chances are, I won't see it. Sorry I missed it though.
- They came out during GOLD and stayed out through majority of the MC. Kisumai brought out mics for them and for the most part were holding them out like, "Need a mic?" But then Tamamori brings out one for Takaki and just shoves it into Takaki's chest. haha... Obviously comfortable with each other.
- KaT-TUN did a lot of marveling over how tiny HSJ used to be, but started off by talking about how small Chinen is. They were surprised when he said he's a high school 2nd year. And then they were like, 「知念、小ちゃ！裕翔、でかぁ！」Kame stood next to Yuto and talked about how small Yuto was when they did Nobuta wo Produce together, having Yuto crouch down to the height he used to be. haha... They teased Takaki about looking too old for the group though, asking if he could really do the Dreams Come True song too and then Takaki starts singing it. lol.
- Kame pulled up at Yamada's shirt and Yamada didn't really do anything, but Chinen was standing to his left and firmly yanked the shirt back down, like NO. haha...
- When they talked about how small Yabu used to be, Kame started singing that "sekai ga hitotsu ni naru made" song (sorry. I'm not sure on the lyrics, but it's that one that has the sign language choreography.)
- They also asked if it was really ok for the members of HSJ to have dyed hair or if it was in actuality against the rules like AKB48.
- KaT-TUN asked Hikaru why he wasn't talking even though he looks like the type that talks a lot and Hikaru said that he wasn't sure if it was ok for him to talk, but if it is, then he will. But then KaT-TUN was like, never mind. You don't have to and kept pushing him back. They talked about how people used to say that Hikaru used to look like Nakamaru. And when they asked Ueda if he ever did sempai/kouhai things, Ueda was like, "Umm... I'm pretty sure I only made fun of Hikaru for looking like Nakamaru." haha...
- Kame told Keito that he'd seen his dad the other day and Keito was just like, "I see." haha... They talked a bit about how weird it must be to come home and see Okamoto Kenichi cooking dinner, but Keito was just like, "Sometimes I come home and he's playing the guitar." All of KaT-TUN were like, wah~! COOL. But Keito's attitude towards the whole subject was just that that's home. He looked good btw. Black v-neck t-shirt.
- Speaking of clothes. They made fun of Yabu's damaged jeans because they are SUPER damaged. The hole over his right knee is HUGE. Yabu said that there was even someone on the train who made a comment about it.
- Inoo, Daiki, and Morimoto didn't really talk. When they got to Morimoto they were like, your brother's in that Snow Prince Gasshoudan thing right?
- As they were leaving, there are these 5 tube slide things and KaT-TUN was just like, "Don't go up those. You never know where it'll take you," and then someone started making Mario sound effects.
- Overall enjoyed HSJ being there. KaT-TUN told lots of embarrassing things that they remember about each of them. Kame talking about how Yabu used to sit on his lap and play with Kame's nose.
- Now I can't remember, but I think it was Sunday's concert that Ueda asked Nakamaru if he even knew the story of Marie Antoinette... which it didn't really look like he did.
- NOT ONE WORD ABOUT KITAYAMA FALLING OFF THE STAGE. *shock* Probably because HSJ took up most of the MC. They didn't poke fun at Nika either.
- When they talked about the Photobook, they definitely said NOVEMBER... which we know now is not true 'cause the publisher is saying early October. haha...
- They changed the beginning of Fire Beat a little. No more walking backwards for Kitayama. ^^;
- In the dance segment thing before Fire Beat, Fujigaya walked forward with his arm around Koki's shoulders but Koki kept shrugging him off. And seriously? How HAPPY does he look to get to dance with Koki?
- Got to see the Fire Beat choreography this time. On Saturday, they just spread out, but Sunday, they did what they were supposed to... and Ueda and Yokoo were singing really close in each others faces.
- When Kame and Nakamaru did that mini skit thing after Kame's solo, Kame did the YamaNade "Ma-ma-mabushikunai." thing like I heard he'd done last week.
- During the Encore NMP, Kame forgot the lyrics. I saw someone say that his mic broke? but I'm pretty sure he blanked on lyrics from what I remember of the look on his face.
- During RESCUE, when they each do their individual dance things, Kame's hands went wandering up Tamamori's chest, under the hideous ketchup/mustard scarf. And btw... there is a LOT of fire during this song. It's really hot.
- During the theatrical corner, while Kame's doing his sakura blowing and fan riding thing out in the middle of Dome, Ueda was just sitting on the dark main stage, looking totally at ease, one knee up, and enjoying the show. haha...
- There was a girl a few rows behind us who had her binoculars out, looking at the main stage when KaT-TUN and Kisumai were all at the back stage. Took me a second, but then I was like, OH. FiVe fan.
- Far less Kisumai fans around us today, but that made us stick out more.
- When they did the Kisumai intros/thank you's at the end, they didn't stand in order like they did Saturday. This time it was Kitayama, Miyata, Yokoo, Senga, Tamamori, Nikaido, Fujigaya. I think it confused staff a little cause when they called Senga after Kitayama, there's a chance that maybe Miyata got shown on the VTR screen... but I'm not sure. I just know Senga stepped forward and made a huge BATSU sign with his arms. Tamamori made his weird eyes closed grin face. Miyata did his otaku dance really fast. Fujigaya did NYAN! Nikaido did his "Nika-chan da yo~!"
- We got Harukana Yakusoku for our last encore. HAPPY. I love this song! So fun.
UEDA'S SOLO - Marie Antoinette (.mp3 links and lyrics)
I typed out the lyrics this morning. This thing was written and composed by Ueda... IN ENGLISH. They're crazy and ridiculous lyrics, but I absolutely loved the performance and this song. He said Sunday was his last time performing it for the tour. He also blew out our eardrums with fireworks towards the end.

I think it confused staff a little cause when they called Senga after Kitayama, there's a chance that maybe Miyata got shown on the VTR screen... but I'm not sure. I just know Senga stepped forward and made a huge BATSU sign with his arms. Tamamori made his weird eyes closed grin face. Miyata did his otaku dance really fast. Fujigaya did NYAN! Nikaido did his "Nika-chan da yo~!"
