I wish I could vote too. Like you say, the President is pretty much ruler of the world, and our piddly PM is just going to be his lapdog anyway.

I really wish we had someone like Obama over here. All we've got are Gordon Brown and David Cameron and they're both awful.
It would be great if we had a black PM. I don't think it will ever happen (too much racism in this country), but I can dream.

i adore obama because he just seems so poised and intelligent and like her really wants to get in, roll up his sleeve and sort the fuck out of his country which is falling down around his ankles.

I seriously will weep if McCain is elected and be astonished that we live in the world with so many people who are prejudiced and so so so small minded!

I also cannot believe that Sarah Palin *shudder* keeps saying that Obama has TERRORIST TIES BECAUSE HE WENT TO AFRICA AND MET WITH MUSLIM LEADERS. Disgusting.

Right on with all of that Ames! I think it's great that all the world is getting so caught up in the whole debate. If only we could have some say in it.
