It's like you took the vague intentions I had for this scene and actually coherently stated them (that's seriously impressive--I can't even figure out where I'm going with things half the time :). The part of this story I really enjoyed writing, though, which I should get posted soon, is what happens once the fact that Merlin=Sorcerer actually gets through Arthur's head.

I enjoyed this terrific, in voice and in character chapter. Arthur's struggle was well drawn, as was Merlin's resignation and hurt. The compromise is an intriguing twist.
