 Hello, I'm new to the community (and Livejournal as well). My name is Gorsecloud, though I go by Gorse. It's the account name I use for most of my online communities, so if you see this username on Fanfiction.net or DeviantArt or a large number of other places, that's probably me.

I was introduced to Tales of the Abyss earlier this year by my ( Read more... )

Just FYI, tales of the abyss cannot play on the ps3. Something in the programming glitches it at choral castle, so if you wanna play, get your hands on a ps2.

Ah, thanks for the tip. Should make it easier in some ways, harder in others... But yeah, I'm glad you told me that. I hadn't heard that from anywhere else, so I wouldn't have known until I'd already bought anything and found it didn't work.

/reads it all.

I pretty much fail at critiques unless I get into major tl;dr territory, so... Just wanted to say I enjoyed what you've written thus far.

Not too many of the post-game stories I've looked at were very long, and/or have been completed, so I'm interested to see where you go with this.

Also welcome to the community and to LJ. :3

Heh, it's okay! I'm glad to get any feedback I can. Even just discussion or random thoughts. I dunno why, but I've always found it helps. Maybe because it just gets me more enthusiastic or something, I dunno. XD

I'm at least glad it didn't go into tl;dr territory. >>;

As it is... Like I said... chapter one's a monster. I'm really only posting it incomplete (normally I don't like to post stuff until it's finished) because, like I said, I have a RL friend who I'm not going to be able to see over the holidays (which is about a month because I'm in college). But yeah. I've got at least twice what I have up down on paper, and it's maybe over halfway done. I think. The main reason I bring it up is that it's making the first chapter an endurance run... but I'm hoping it'll be easier once it's up.

Anyway, thanks! Glad you've been enjoying it so far! ^^

welcome to the comm! yes, get your hands on a ps2 (though i believe the older model ps3s, the ones that have the backward compatible chip and not the emulation, can play the game. but don't take my word for it. ps2 are cheap nowaday anyway)

i just read the prologue to your story and so far so good. =]
