You can do it. Look what you did with Japan. You went there, and stayed when everyone else was running. You can do this.
If you are able to work in nursing homes www.hcr-manorcare.com has some facilities in Houston. That's the company I work for, and they aren't bad at all.
Start checking places like the Potter's House and Salvation Army thrift stores. You can usually find good furniture deals at places like those dirt cheap. As for dishes, pots, pans, etc, the dollar store is your best friend. And if you aim for August/September, hit the sales WalMart, etc, have for back-to-school. I got a set last year that had a coffee pot, toaster, and... something else, an iron, maybe... for like... $25 for all three.
Hey, I've been there. Voice of experience and all that. :P If nothing else, you may be able to find a good sleeper sofa or futon at one of them and kill two birds with one stone. :D
You can do it. *hugs* You managed to do a lot so far and make it through some tough times. It's never easy, but just keep your goal in mind: your own place, quiet, less stress. It may bump getting back to Japan a bit, but keeping your sanity is more important than anything.
Im proud of you. Coming to this realization shows that youve taken a huge step forward in living the kind of life you want to live, and also shows a great deal of maturity and growth. I'll be keepin on you, dont you worry about that <3
