My thought on it was, if I'd never read the books I'd probably have liked the movie for what it was. Having read the books -- well, they just tell a more interesting and complex story, don't they. (Then again, that's largely true of any book to movie conversion, I know...)

See, I've never read the books so for me this was a better Clash of the Titans than Clash of the Titans was. I liked it enough to seek out the books now, but we'll see when that might be. Adjusting to life with a car payment is no an easy thing to do, let me tell you.

I have yet to see the Clash of the Titans remake. One of these days I will.
