The 14 ... err, 17 Books

Oct 21, 2009 01:44

So I figure I'm going to keep track of it like this:  I'll list all 14 of the books I packed for this trip with me, and I'll come back and strike-through the titles as I finish reading each book, and we'll see exactly how many I read.  And since I purchased the new Indiana Jones book tonight (the only book I saw and picked up), I'm going to add ( Read more... )

dracula, win scott eckert, indiana jones, best american anthologies, bram stoker, gabriel hunt, stephen king, short stories, philip jose farmer, scott sigler

I didn't even know it was coming out. I have all of the reissues of the novels that came out in the late 80s / early 90s and I've read a couple of them. And of course I have the novelizations of the movies, even the most recent. Saw this, in paperback, and couldn't resist, especially since I've been enjoying the adventures of Indy's "spiritual grandson" Gabriel Hunt.

You just wanted to keep your list at a nice even 14 I think, rather than have it shrink to 13. ;)

Hahaa! That means I'm going to have to buy a book for every book I read ...

Don't tempt me.

....I'm adding some of those books to my list, just so you know. So, uh, now it's up to about thirty books.

I should probably keep track of what I'm reading, y/n?

Have fun with all of those, though. They sound interesting.

Personally, I think you should add all of them to your list, but that's just me.

I would, but I like to tackle my reading lists in manageable chunks. Twenty-odd books is barely a manageable chunk. Anything higher than thirty makes me quail and procrastinate. XD;;;

Anything higher than 30 turns you into an indecisive gamebird?
