Writer's Block: Home Cooking

I'm answering this mainly because I can't answer it.  I honestly cannot remember the last time I cooked a meal for myself at home that was not something microwavable, something you can cook just by adding hot water (ramen noodles) or something reheated from leftovers from a local restaurant.

Pouring oatmeal into a bowl and adding hot water, or pouring cereal into a bowl and adding cold milk, doesn't really count as cooking, does it?

Sublimation? If that's the only thing your freezer's doing, then it's not doing anything wrong.

When it causes all of the frozen meat to defrost and go bad ... I think it's beyond "doing what it's supposed to do." *grin*

Are you sure that you're not storing the ice cube tray upside down? Because my freezer always inevitably turns my ice cream into... well, just ice, but it leaves the ice cubes alone...
