Last Year's Stated Goals

Jan 01, 2007 03:58

Just went back and looked at the list, and here's what I find, slightly edited, with my success in italics:

-- Once I've used the gift certificates I got for Christmas, my goal is to not buy any more books in 2006. Uhm ... yeah.  We can count this one as a total failure.  I bought plenty of books in 2006, although I will say I made it until February ( Read more... )

As someone who, for almost two years, did 100 words a day, I can promise you that sometimes, a hundred words is an agonizing much. lol. :)

What I would give to feel like writing them now.
But I don't, so I fall back on 'don't worry about it', because I know if I do, I still won't be able to write anyway. lol. :)

Hope you're feeling well today. *Hugs* ♥

I agree about it being difficult to sometimes squeeze in even 100 words a day. And my former job certainly did not make things easy on that front. We'll see what happens with the new job and so much travel time.

You know, that's why it's good to make lots of Resolutions -- because then you'll undoubtedly meet a couple of them, right? :)

I personally have skipped the whole Resolving thing for a while. I know that whatever Resolutions I make will actually be more like pipe dreams... perhaps I should Resolve to make more realistic Resolutions!

... like figuring out some semblance of a budget so we can save for Alex's college ...

Like I said, I rarely if ever do the resolution thing. The goal-setting is an on going thing, although it becomes more apparent at the beginning of each calendar year.

Gad, I cant begin to imagine what college tuition will be like by the time Alex, or my neice and nephew even, get to that age.
