Frodo drew the little lass close and kissed the top of her head. “She must promise me never to visit the bees again. If she ever wants honey she must come and ask Bilbo or me.”

“And say 'Please Mr Baggins, may I have some honey'.”

“Yes.”

“And from now on,” said Marigold, “I will give all my honey to you,” and she knelt up and kissed Frodo on his unstung cheek before settling down snuggled close into his side.

This is so incredibly sweet and loving. Tween Frodo is a handful indeed, but such a good-hearted lad.
