Pearl, this is amazing! Pippin's dream following out of his rather rambling metaphysical thoughts was a brilliant stroke!

And all of them, Men, Faeries, Elves, Dwarves and Hobbits, stretched out into the Heavens.

The Master was there, and Gandalf. With them there were still others. Not as like each other as Elves were all like Elves or Hobbits were all like Hobbits, but Pippin knew they were kindred. Beings that shone with light and power. Shone like the stars in the Heavens. Some of the star-beings placed themselves in amongst the creatures who lived upon Arda, moving amongst them, enlightening them, guiding and caring for them.

Then Pippin knew, he had been saved from certain death inside Old Man Willow by one of those star-beings. He had sung its songs, eaten at its table, then its gentle hand had patted his shoulder to send him off to bed.

Truly, more vision than dream, it reminds me, not so much of JRRT, but of some of C.S. Lewis' writings, and Charles Williams'. Well done!

Oh my, what a magical vision. It's wonderful to get inside Pippin's head during this very unusual part of the journey. Sheer poetry as always, Pearl.

This is beautiful, Pearl! I loved Pippin's dream and how he was rather amused with himself. I liked how Pippin came to the realisation of Tom Bombadil; of "what" he thought Tom was and such. Something else that caught my eye was how Pippin couldn't imagine himself "Alone and Nameless" for very long - eventually he once again became Peregrin Took among other hobbits, because...I think Peregrin Took doesn't like to be alone.

Well done, my friend!

Wonderful. Showing everyone as a part of the whole and yet an individual on his own. Such an interesting dream!
