Wow I really loved this chapter! Seriously it was fantastic, it was awful to watch Chris kind of crumbling down and their relationship deteriorating as he worked for these people and got more stressed and wrapped up in it and wouldn't see Darcy's side. Just so sad. Did he get turned into a vampire? I got the sense that he did. :/ Poor Darcy, just stuck in such a bad situation. And having to give up her child, that was so sad!
I do like that she is a human, I think it adds a new twist to the story in a good way! It's got to be terrifying to be involved in supernatural things as a human, I wonder how she'll handle that. I love her character and I love how well you got the reader into her mind! :D

Oh wow. Poor Darcy :( poor Chris, in fact.
This was a really nice insight into her character, and I really enjoyed it. Even if it was really sad...

This was really nicely written! I definitely got a good feel for Darcy's character and understand her a lot more. I am really upset about Chris :( I Really wish he hadn't gotten involved. I was really hoping that Darcy and Calen would end up together because Chris had seemed like such an ass, but now, I really hope Calen can help protect him and get those two back together!!
Really excited to see the role that Darcy will play in Calen's life and the legacy! Hope to see more soon :)
